UNDER THE SKY OF BEAUCE, A TRIBUTE TO THE ONE WHO GOES OUT, Stone

About This Project

The artist has always been seeking, through visual and formal means, to evoke the subtle states that describe the human experience . More specifically, the artist seeks the expression of the contrasts between immortality and the ephemeral part of human experiences through the themes of presence and absence, of fullness and emptiness and of transformation. These contrasts often take form in the work of the artist through the imprint (the fossil trace) which, by its very existence, separates us and brings us closer to the presence of being. Stone is the artist’s favorite material for its durability and extreme hardness, which contrast so strongly with the fragility and changing nature of living things.
