THE CIRCUS, Metal

About This Project

Wanting to combine his love for horses and the theme of the Symposium “extreme sport, supreme endurance”, the sculptor was inspired by the painting of Georges Seurat “The Circus” painted in 1890, exactly 125 years ago. The work represents a ballerina who pivots on the back of a galloping horse. The singularity of the scene leaves no one indifferent. The strength of the frame paired with the grace of the ballerina gives a lot of amplitude to the work that will be performed.
