Marc Fugère’s work consists in putting the human as an individual in space with all his interior turmoil and his questions. The use of stone and metal results in a classical sculpture by subtraction and assembly, small and large formats, which seek to approach the viewer and place it in a meditative environment. From this research will be born sculptures purified at the limit of the figurative and often abstract.  What did we receive? What will we bequeath? “Sublime rendez-vous” where the generations, side by side, exchange and share the key of existence. Material goods, knowledge, stories, cultures, values are all keys that keep the horizon open and guide the continuity of life. Consciously or not, this exchange takes place every day; parents / children, teachers / pupils, leaders / citizens … What will they have received? What have we bequeathed?
