About This Project

Inspired by the luminosity of ice and glass since childhood, Jacinthe Lagueux explores the technique of melting and thermoforming glass. This without neglecting the contribution of various materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, copper, bronze, granite and steatite to establish a dialogue between surfaces sometimes smooth and transparent, sometimes textured and opaque. Thus, by many shimmering flashes of light, we can read a poetic flirting with plenty of luminous and lyrical angles, in favor of a sublimation of forms now liberated from the determinisms of matter by ambient light.
